Elsa

Meet Elsa! ❄️💙

Elsa is a spunky 3-year-old pit mix with a heart as big as her personality! She’s spayed, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and on prevention.

Rescued from a fighting ring in Indianapolis, Elsa may have lost an eye — but she hasn’t lost her sparkle! She’s currently thriving in a foster home with 10 other dogs and loves to play, snack on treats, and soak up attention.

Elsa would do best with older kids who can match her playful energy. This brave, loving girl is ready to melt your heart and find her happily ever after. 💕

Pitty Pablo

Meet Pitty Pablo! 🐾

Pitty Pablo is a 3–5-year-old sweetheart who’s ready for the loving home he’s always deserved. After surviving a harsh snowstorm alone on a porch, he’s finally safe, warm, and eager to find his forever family.

He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on flea and tick prevention. Pablo loves to play tag — though catching him is half the fun!

This resilient, playful boy is ready to trade cold nights for cuddles and companionship. ❤️

Cyrus

Meet Cyrus! 🐾💙

Cyrus is a handsome 3–4-year-old pup with a heart full of love and a smile that’s impossible to resist! Found roaming the streets alone, he’s now ready to find the forever home he deserves.

He’s neutered, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Cyrus has some skin allergies and does best on a salmon-based diet to keep him feeling his best.

He’s great with cats and kids, but would thrive as the only dog in the home. Cyrus loves being with his people and may get a little anxious when left alone, but his loyalty and affection make him an incredible companion.

Roxie is a sweet 6-year-old pup who’s been waiting far too long — 3 years in a kennel, patiently hoping for her forever family to find her. Despite being overlooked, she’s remained gentle and full of love.

She’s spayed, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, and microchipped — ready to finally go home. Roxie can be a bit nervous after so much time in rescue, so she’d do best in a calm home without kids or other animals where she can relax and feel safe.

This deserving girl just needs someone to give her the chance she’s been waiting for. ❤️

Astrid is a lovable, social butterfly who adores everyone she meets! She gets along wonderfully with kids and other dogs, and her favorite things include snuggles, treats, and attention.

She’s spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative, currently thriving in foster care where she’s learning her manners and doing great with crate and potty training.

Astrid is as sweet as they come and is ready to bring joy, love, and laughter to her forever home! 💕

Meet Lola! 💕🐾

Lola is a sweet, friendly 9-year-old girl who’s finally getting the care she deserves. Now that her fleas are gone, her skin is healing beautifully, and she’s feeling so much better!

She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on prevention. Lola is currently in foster care, working on her manners, crate training, and potty training, and she takes Trazodone to help her stay calm and comfortable.

This gentle senior is ready to spend her golden years surrounded by love and kindness. ❤️

Rose

Meet Rose! 🌹🐾

Rose is a friendly, energetic 1½-year-old pup who loves leash walks and is a pro on a lead! She’s incredibly social with dogs and kids and has the athleticism to jump 4-foot chain fences with ease.

She’s fully vetted, potty trained, and crate trained, ready to find a forever home where she can play, explore, and be loved. Rose does not get along with cats, but she’s otherwise a joyful, affectionate companion looking for her perfect match! ❤️

Titan

Meet Titan!

Titan’s come a long way — rescued after nearly being hit by a car and treated for heartworms, he’s now healthy, heartworm-free, neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated! 

This 2–3-year-old, 80-pound bundle of strength and love is potty and kennel trained, dog-friendly, good with kids, and has been around cats (he tries to play but is gentle). He LOVES his toys, people, and being part of the action!

Titan will need a secure yard or leash walks — he can clear a 6-foot fence with ease. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate companion, Titan’s your guy.

Lieutenant Dan

​Meet Lt. Dan!

one of our beloved rescue stars here at Happy Tails! This brave 1-2 year old pup is a true inspiration, having overcome the challenges of a gunshot wound to his spine in Kentucky! Dan is a special needs dog who wears diapers and needs his bladder expressed due to losing function of his bladder and bowel movements. While he may be paralyzed and require some extra care, he scoots like a champ, loves being around other animals and kids, and is ready to find an experienced owner who can shower him with love. Plus, he’s heartworm negative, up to date on all his vaccinations, chipped, and simply can't be neutered due to his mobility needs.

Lindy

Meet Lindy! 💕🐾

Lindy is a gentle, loving girl who’s spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she loves to snuggle close to her person.

She’s currently working on potty and crate training and does experience a bit of separation anxiety, so a patient home will help her continue to blossom. Lindy has interacted with cats, though their relationship is still developing — a meet and greet is recommended.

With time, love, and understanding, Lindy will make a devoted and affectionate companion. ❤️

Frizz

Meet Frizz! 🐾

Frizz is a resilient 3–5-year-old terrier mix who’s ready for a loving home! Found living in a basement with Lenny in poor conditions, Frizz has bounced back with his sweet and friendly personality intact.

He’s great with kids 7 and older (toddlers can make him nervous) and all adults. Despite missing toes on one paw, it doesn’t slow him down a bit! Frizz is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on prevention.

This brave little guy is ready to leave his rough past behind and become someone’s loyal companion. ❤️

Shelly is an affectionate, eager-to-please pup who loves being by your side and is ready to become part of your family! She’s fully house trained and improving with crate training.

Shelly gets along well with other dogs (though she can be a bit selective) and is great with older kids. She’s spayed, heartworm negative, and fully vetted, ready to find her forever home and shower her family with love!

This delightful girl is eager to find a loving forever home where she can share her affection, charm, and playful spirit. Raven is ready to become the perfect companion and won’t stay available for long! ❤️

Lenny

Meet Lenny! 🐾💛

Lenny is a lovable 2–3-year-old neutered Shepherd mix and a total goofball! He’s making great progress with potty training and gaining confidence around other dogs and people. He can be a little protective over treats, but with patience, he’ll continue to shine.

Lenny is microchipped, heartworm and Lyme negative, and up to date on vaccinations. This sweet boy is almost ready to find his forever home and bring endless love and laughter to his family!

Get ready to meet the amazing Rosemary! This delightful 4-year-old shepherd mix is full of energy and charm. After having a litter this winter, she's now on a special kidney diet. She is Spayed, up to date, Heartworm negative and chipped, making her ready for her forever home! Rosemary is great with animals and kids, making her the perfect addition to any family.

Nelly

Meet Nelly!

Nelly is now fully vetted and recovering beautifully from her surgery! This sweet girl came from a hoarding case and hadn’t been outside in over a year, but she’s making amazing progress every day.

She loves zooming around the barn, playing with her sister Sasha, and greeting every dog she meets with a friendly tail wag. Nelly is gentle, loving, and curious — she just needs a patient adopter who will give her time to settle and feel safe.

With love and understanding, Nelly will blossom into the loyal best friend she’s meant to be. 🐾

Sasha

Meet Sasha! 🐾

Sasha is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested. She’s making great progress after her rough start in a hoarding situation, but she’ll need a patient family who understands giving dogs time to decompress.

Sasha can be incredibly sweet and gains confidence from other friendly dogs, so a home with a playful companion and a secure yard would be ideal. She’s ready for someone willing to give her love, patience, and a chance to truly thrive.

Rufus

Meet Rufus!

Rufus is a gentle 5–6-year-old boy whose heart has been through a lot lately. He was clearly loved once, he went on daily walks, slept beside his person every night, and knew what it felt like to be someone’s best friend. Sadly, after his elderly owner passed away, Rufus was left outside, waiting faithfully for the person who would never return. 💔

Now, it’s our turn to make sure Rufus knows love again. He’ll be heading to the vet soon for neutering, vaccines, a microchip, and a full checkup. Despite everything, he remains calm, loyal, and full of quiet sweetness — the kind of dog who just wants to be near his person and feel safe again.

Rufus deserves a soft bed, gentle hands, and a family who will never give up on him. 💛

Atlas

Meet Atlas 🐾

Atlas is a 6–7-year-old, 41-pound sweetheart who’s been through a lot but is finally getting the care he deserves. When he was found, he was severely underweight — but with love and good food, he’s gaining steadily and should be around 60 pounds once healthy.

Atlas is heartworm positive and will begin treatment once he’s gained a bit more weight. His treatment plan includes medication, injections, and a neuter once he’s fully recovered.

Despite everything, Atlas remains gentle, brave, and trusting. ❤️ His recovery will take time and care, but he’s worth every bit of it.

Willow

Meet Willow! 🌸🐾

Willow’s story started on Rio Grande Ave, where she was posted as “found” for nearly three weeks. When her owner was located, they asked if we could give her the care she needs — and of course, we said yes! ❤️

This sweetheart loves car rides, is great with kids, dogs, cats, and even does well around chickens (just watches them curiously!). She’ll be starting monthly prevention for fleas, ticks, and heartworms, getting updated vaccines, and will be spayed soon — then she’ll be ready for her forever home!

Willow is gentle, friendly, and full of love — the kind of dog who will make someone the best companion they could ask for.
