At Happy Tails Animal Rescue, we strive to find loving forever homes for our furry friends.
Leo, a male ginger cat with a heart of gold. Leo was unfortunately dumped multiple times by his previous owner and tried to go back home each time. Despite this, he remains vocal, loving, and deserving of a family who will appreciate him. We are happy to announce that Leo has found his forever home with a loving family that includes a dog and a cat sibling!
Jetson was our very first adoption through Happy Tails Animal Rescue. Jetson's story is one that tugs at our heartstrings. This black Pitbull spent too much time confined to a crate and kennel, but his luck changed when he came to Happy Tails Animal Rescue. Our founder's daughter and her boyfriend adopted him once they fell in love with his photos and videos. The love and attention they have given Jetson is heartwarming, and we are grateful to be a part of Jetson's happy tale. At Happy Tails Animal Rescue, we are dedicated to finding loving homes for animals in need, and we know that Jetson is a perfect example of love and happiness.
Oakley was simply kept at her previous owners just so they could breed her. Two days before she gave birth, her owner kicked her out of the home on a 95 degree day. A wonderful foster stepped up for her and her babies. The babies are now 6 weeks old so they will be with us a couple more weeks. Oakley girl will be spayed September 5th and then she can go live her best life in her new home. She no longer has to be alive to just have babies and she gets to become a dog herself. Oakley girl, this is your Happy Tale.
Patina (previously Rosie) is having the best weekend. When you get to help the 10 year old dog someone didn’t care about and let her starve find a forever home where she is so loved, it is an overwhelming feeling of happiness. Patina was so emaciated and people were searching for her all over but didn’t have luck until one day she was caught and held until our wonderful foster Julie stepped up and said she would foster. Julie had nothing but wonderful things to say about Patina and it was hard for her to let her go. Fosters are a huge part of our rescue that help us extend our rescue when we don’t have the room. Patina wouldn’t have had much longer out on the streets. She also was “owned” by someone who did not care about her and I have heard they now have a puppy. I’m glad they gave up on Patina so she could get the home she deserves. She was so sweet at the Vet office and this is just one of the times I really understand why we do all these things. Patina, this is your Happy Tale.
Sweet Teddy was found on the streets of Terre Haute INFESTED with fleas and his skin raw from the bites. From the start he was a loving boy who wanted nothing more than a family of his own. Teddy has been with foster for over two months with some interest but people often pass by the Pitbulls but we just see a dog who needs a home. Teddy gives actual hugs and he will be an only child to this young couple. Foster called me with tears in her eyes because like us, she has grown to love these animals like her own. Teddy boy, this is your Happy Tale.
We love a double adoption! Luna’s baby was found in the projects right after she was born and Salem’s baby was also found outside with her mom all alone. They went to a fabulous home together today Sweet Kittens, This is your Happy Tale.
This family came to look for a black kitten and what do ya know, they also thought it needed a pal to go home with These 2 are Luna’s babies and get a home together We are always happy for a kitten to be adopted but when two get to go home together, it warms our hearts. Happy Tales to you (they are working on names).
So this family right here is the ultimate cat family so I was so excited when Tiffany reached out to come meet Jazzy because I knew Jazzy wasn’t as cuddly as the other ones and she’s a scared girl. When they were in the room they kept talking about always wanting an orange cat so I gave them Nebula’s story and they felt they both needed a home together Nebula and Jazzy were bunk mates together during their isolation period and now they are cuddled together at their new home. I can’t tell you how happy I am when sometimes the kittens who might get looked past because of their disability or their attitude get adopted. They just need time and love Happy Tales Nebula and Jazzy
Hanks foster family family was pretty emotional about applications coming in and setting up some meet and greets and they took the night to discuss it and this morning they confirmed they want him to be officially theirs
Hank does not trust a lot of people and they have had him about 2 1/2 months working with him and he really loves them and they love him. To meet Hank is to love Hank. His foster mom met him the very first night we got him so she knows how far he has come from then to now.
Hank, this is your Happy Tale
